To complaining Delta pilots: Please!

I agree: What current pilot did not know what he was getting into when hired to become a Delta flight officer?

And what is this bunk about their "quality of lifestyle" that must be maintained?

The pilots want to be paid for working 70 to 80 hours a month that I understand, but where do they come off expecting to be compensated for the other 250 to 300 hours a month spent away from domicile? Layover pay? Commute to base pay?

I should ask my employer for pay to cover the drive to and from work, because after all, it is work related! Please!
