Lazers are nationally ranked

The PTC U-14 Lazers girls soccer team (Georgia state champions) is now nationally ranked. After hosting a tournament of outstanding girls U-14 teams from around the country, the Lazers' performance gained them national recognition in two separate nationally recognized soccer ranking polls.

Ace's soccer rankings (avsports.com) and another site (nationalsoccerranking.com) have named the Peachtree City team number 10 and number 16 in the country, respectively.

In February, the Lazers hosted an all state champion tournament that included Chantilly Milan from Virginia (also the two-time Region One champion team); Cincinnati Cardinal Premier (also the Region Two champion team); Dallas Sting (North Texas); Sugarland Eclipse Black (South Texas); and Dynamo 87 (Indiana). The Lazers were the only team to walk away with no losses against this outstanding competition.
