Free CPR class begins March 31 at FFUMC

The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will offer a free CPR class Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. A nursery will be provided. For more information, call the church at 770-461-4313.

Covenant to offer parenting and divorce course

Covenant Presbyterian Church will offer a Cooperative Parenting and Divorce Group program beginning April 6, and continuing for eight weeks. The course will be taught on Thursday nights from 6:30-9 p.m. The focus of the group is putting the needs of children first to minimize the negative effects of divorce. FFBC schedules churchwide Missions Banquet

Barbara Curnett, executive director and treasurer of WMU and Women's Ministries, will be the guest speaker at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church's Missions Banquet on Tuesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. The topic is "Visions of Hope Beyond Belief." Seniors invited to join 'McFolks' at MRBC

Senior adults in the community are invited to be a part of the 'McFolks' group at McDonough Road Baptist Church. The group participates in out-of-town trips, local get-togethers, and has its own choir at the church. The Senior Singing Adult Choir meets on Wednesday mornings. FFUMC will offer Lenten lunches each Wednesday

The UMW of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will offer a series of light Lenten lunches and short devotionals each Thursday during Lent at 12 noon, dismissing by 1 p.m. The theme of the devotionals will be "In Plain View of the Cross."
