Bethany UMW plans trip, bake sale, yard sale

Members of the Circle of Love UMW group at Bethany United Methodist Church will tour the grounds of Simpsonwood and have lunch on Tuesday, March 20. The UMW also is planning a bake sale for April 14, and a yard sale for May 4 and 5. Donations of items for the yard sale will be accepted. FFUMC will offer Lenten lunches each Wednesday

The UMW of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will offer a series of light Lenten lunches and short devotionals each Thursday during Lent at noon, dismissing by 1 p.m. The theme of the devotionals will be "In Plain View of the Cross." FFBC offers ladies Bible study on 'Prayer of Jabez'

FFBC issues casting call for 'extras'

The Fayetteville First Baptist Church is seeking extras for nonspeaking and non-singing roles in its upcoming production of "Once Upon A Tree," scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. The drama depicts events in the last week of the life of Christ. Inman UMC offers 'Kidlink' preschool program

Inman United Methodist Church invites children in the community to be a part of "Kidlink," its preschool program offered in a Christian setting. Children will have an opportunity to learn about God and Christ as they discover, interact, and use their imagination in a fun learning atmosphere. FFBC schedules churchwide Missions Banquet

Mother's Morning Out to begin at Providence UMC

The Mother's Morning Out program at Providence United Methodist Church is now accepting applications for the 2001-2002 school year. The program is open to children ages 6 weeks to 2 years of age.
