Panthers are back-to-back state champions

The Starr's Mill Panthers wrestling team won its second consecutive state title over the weekend.

Panthers win county swim meet and head to state meet this weekend

The Starr's Mill High School swim team defeated the three other county high schools to win the Fayette County Swim Championships. Feb. 2 at the Southeast Natatorium in Atlanta.

Regular season ends and region tournaments begin for high school basketball teams

The regular season of high school basketball ended over the weekend and the region tournaments began earlier this week. For many of our local high schools, the season could have ended better.

The Atlanta chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Associaition will kick off its 2001 season in style Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Perimeter Marriott from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Speed Training offered again

Due to tremendous demand, The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville will again offer Speed Training. The eight sessions will be held on Wednesdays in March and April at 5:30 p.m.
