Peachtree City UMC schedules generation gap' seminar Feb. 25

Dr. Rick Hicks will present a seminar at Peachtree City United Methodist Church on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. The seminar will be based on Hicks' book, "Boomers, Xers, and Other StrangersUnderstanding the Generational Differences That Divide Us," which he coauthored with his wife, Karen.

"The differences in people's values, lifestyles and opinions are the result of how they saw the world as they were growing up," Hicks said. "Everyone mixes with different generations, whether it's at home, work or church."

Hicks is currently president of Operation Mobilization USA, an organization that trains and places people in mission opportunities. He also coauthored "Seeking Solid Ground" with John Trent in 1995. He is a frequent speaker at colleges, conferences and churches.

Peachtree City UMC is on the corner of Windgate Rd. and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City. For more information, call 770-487-6499.
