Massey to lead ladies' Bible study group at Christ the King Feb. 20

Dr. Judy Massey of Peachtree City, current cofounder of the Society of Christ the Healer and author of three religious instruction manuals, will instruct a series of ladies Bible study classes beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. until noon. The classes will continue weekly at the Parish House of Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church, 4881 Ga. Hwy. 34 East, between Peachtree City and Fayetteville.

The study costs $15 and will cover the workbook, "Experiencing God. " A nursery will be provided.

Dr. Massey was a teacher by profession at both the elementary and college levels. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson-Newman College, a Master of Education degree from Georgia State University, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in missions and global evangelism from Regent University. She has taught Bible studies, spoken in Women's Aglow chapters, retreats, prisons, churches and foreign nations. She often speaks and conducts workshops on spiritual warfare, evangelism, Islamic issues, and prophetic.

In addition to currently serving as cofounder of the missions organization, Christ the Healer, she also serves as Aglow state prayer coordinator for the state of Georgia, and as a member of the ministry team at Christ the King Church.

A commissioned minister in the ICCEC, she has been instrumental in mobilizing Christians for short-term missions trips.

Dr. Massey is the wife of Father Paul Massey, a priest at Christ the King.
