Resident loves Tyrone and is not 'dumb as dirt'

Mr. Bartlett stated he had the unhappy experience of living among the "Dumb as dirt, redneck as it gets, Bubbaville-thinking Town Council, Mayor, and residents in Tyrone for the past 11 years."

Well, after having so much trouble as a builder-developer starting in 1985, he must have found something he likes about Tyrone as he has lived in Carrowmore subdivision since 1990. Apparently he has been denied the approval of building permits, but that does not give him the right to call the residents of Tyrone "dumb as dirt."

I think Tyrone does consider growth issues, with care. But I am sure no builder or contractor agrees. I hope they continue to say no when it is not in the best interest of our town. I am proud to be a resident of Tyrone and support our local government and I am not dumb as dirt.
