Swimmers to compete in county meet this Friday By MICHAEL BOYLAN The county swimming championships will be held at the Kedron Aquatic Center in Peachtree City Friday at 5 p.m. The meet will feature the swim teams from all four Fayette County public schools and should be highly competitive. Each school has representatives heading to the state meet and a win here will give each program an inkling of how tight the upcoming region meet will be. The teams have all met individually during the season and many of the swimmers swim with each other in the offseason. Expect the swimmers to go all out Friday as bragging rights are at stake. |
