Kenwood plans defensive driving class for seniors

Area senior citizens can sharpen their defensive driving skills and receive a certificate for discounted insurance by signing up for the AARP 55 Alive defensive driving class sponsored by the Primetimers at Kenwood Christian Church next month. The class is scheduled in two four-hour sessions, one on Jan. 6, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and one on Jan 20, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in room 303 of the church. Both sessions must be attended to receive the certificate.

There is a cost of $10 per person for class materials and Jan. 3 is the deadline for registration.

Upon completion of both four-hour sessions, the participant will be awarded a certificate which most insurance companies will honor to provide a discount on auto insurance.

Kenwood Christian is on Ga. Hwy. 85 South, 4.5 miles south of the Fayette County Courthouse.
