Thanks from Domestic Violence Council

Our organization is able to provide services to victims of domestic violence because of the overwhelming support and generosity of our community. An example of this type of support occurred Nov. 18 when the Fayette County Council on Domestic Violence held its 12th annual Fashion Show/Silent Auction. The purpose of this letter is to publicly thank the many individuals who made that event possible.

First, a special thanks to our benefactors: Attina's Music Store, Jennifer and Bill Barnes, Phillip S. Coe, Esq., Dragon House Pearls, Terry and Lane Gauntt, Gold's Gym PTC, Goodheart Chiropractic Clinic, Rev. Betsy Haas, Happy Hands Children's Clothing, Horsefeathers, Peggy and Lewis Jordan, Dr. Linda Katz, Dr. Dave Lee, Mallet & Associates, McNally, Fox & Grant, Sharon Pierce of Prudential Georgia, The Quilter's Guild, Reed's Row, Dr. Walter and Joan Smith, Martha and Robert Stevenson, Village Clothier, Leslie W. Wade and Associates, Curtis Williamson, Nelda Wright, and the Wyndham Conference Center.

Our many volunteers, models, and the VOCA club at Starr's Mill High School also deserve our heartfelt thanks for their enthusiasm and hours of work. In addition Frank Murphy from Entertainment Productions graciously provided music and sound and Ken Matthews provided musical entertainment for the event. Thank you all for volunteering your time and talents.

Finally, a special thanks to all the many individuals and companies in our community who donated items for the silent auction. Your support made this event a financial success! Thanks to each and everyone of you.

Linda Wells

Executive Director
