Giving thanks...

Giving thanks constitutes exercise. There's no way thanksgiving comes passively. It takes effort. For a "thanksgiving" transaction to take place, two agents are required: one to deliver the thanks and one to receive the thanks.

Peachtree City ministry will sponsor free youth rally in Rome on Dec. 2

Service Master of Rome and Coming Clean Ministries of Peachtree City are teaming up to sponsor a free youth rally at the Forum in Rome, Ga. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. Free transportation will be provided from Braelinn Baptist Church parking lot in Peachtree City, with a departure time of 5 p.m. The event will feature music by FireWall5 and Dr. Jorge Valdes as guest speaker.

St. Gabriel's church will have Thanksgiving mass Thursday

The Catholic Church of Saint Gabriel is planning a special Thanksgiving morning mass this Thursday, Nov. 23, at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Daniel Toof will preside over the mass.

Church of Nativity announces Advent activities, communion

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will sponsor an Advent wreath-making time on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 9:30 a.m. Supplies will be provided by the church.

Antioch Rd. churches join hands to remember kindness of parishioner

It was a hot summer day back in June when three parishioners from the Catholic Church of Saint Gabriel saw their new neighbors at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity sweating over the hard soil attempting to plant vegetation at their new home.
