Soccer Centre kicks off very busy winter season

Things are starting to pick up at The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville.

Registration for teams and players in ages Under-6 through Under-13 are still being accepted. The season for Under-6 through Under-10 begins the week of Dec. 4 and the season for Under-10 through Under-13 begins the week of Jan. 5. Registration for ages Under-14 through Under-19 and High School Girls is closed.

The Soccer Centre is also holding the Christmas Soccer Camp Dec. 21-22. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and will be instructed by Atlanta Silverbacks goalkeeper Walter Valesky and Camp Director Kevin Dumas, who holds a USSF "C" National Coaching License.

The camp wil consist of skill games and tournaments, specialized goalkeeper training, advanced player clinics and small sided games.
