I didn't grow up wanting to be a newspaper man, which is good because some would say I still haven't made it.

Starr's Mill wins regional one act competition

The Starr's Mill High School Advanced Drama Class participated in and won the Region 4-AAAAA one act play competition. The group presented the play "Andrea's Got Two Boyfriends" which deals with devlopmentally disabled adolescents. In addition to the win, Craig DeLorenzo was named "Best Actor" in the region for his portrayal of Freddie in the play.

 
FCT to present "Rock and Roll Santa" in December

Fayette Community Theatre's Christmas production this year will be the family musical comedy, "Rock and Roll Santa." The show will be staged at Spring Hill Elementary School in Fayetteville and the six performances will benefit the Fayette Youth Protection Homes.
