FCT to present "Rock and Roll Santa" in December

Fayette Community Theatre's Christmas production this year will be the family musical comedy, "Rock and Roll Santa." The show will be staged at Spring Hill Elementary School in Fayetteville and the six performances will benefit the Fayette Youth Protection Homes.

Sylvia Wade, president of the theater group noted, "This is the perfect show to attract families with children of all ages because it is today's music and dance coupled with a really fun script."

Fayette Community Theatre asks that each person or family attending the show to bring a pre-packaged snack food item which will be provided to the two homes in the County." There are never enough snacks for the kids," explained Wade. "So we are asking for snacks like pudding cups, microwave popcorn, cookies and other snacks that any kid would love."

"Rock and Roll Santa" will be performed on Fridays, Dec. 1 and 8 at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays, Dec. 2 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays, Dec. 3 and 10 at 3 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the Fayetteville and Peachtree City libraries or may be ordered by phone at 770-631-1542. Tickets may be purchased in advance at a special price of four tickets for $20 with a fifth ticket free. Tickets at the door will be $5 per person.
