Fayette Special Olympians compete in state event

Recently, Special Olympic athletes from Fayette County competed in the State Fall Games in LaGrange.

The athletes competed in the areas of bocce and golf.

In Bocce-Unified teams, Karen and Amber Tino placed second, as did Robin Camp and Shannon Waldrop. Placing third in the competition were Cathy Padia and Heather Brant.

In the four-person teams division, Debbi Fogg, Stephanie Fulton, Judy Montague and Cynthia Scarborough took second place, as did Buddy Croft, John Butler, David Gray and Scotty Smith.

Placing third were Glen Terry, Scotty Moore, David Moncus and Suzanne Fields.

Placing third in school age golf skills was Jonathan Laughlin.
