PTC Classic held this Saturday By MICHAEL

The annual Peachtree City Classic Road race, sponsored by the Peachtree city Running Club, will be run this weekend. The races, a 5K and a 15K, are open to the public and registration is still available at the pre-Race Expo on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Wyndham Peachtree Executive Conference Center. The 5K and the 15K courses are run mostly on golf cart paths that take runners through the green belt areas, by lakes and ponds, through woods and small tunnels, across bridges and on scenic rutes through the planned community of Peachtree City. Last year, USA Track and Field ranked the Classic as the 10th largest 15K in America. It was also voted the best 15K course in Georgia by georgia Athlete Magazine. the 15 K race is the national championship race for the Roadrunners Club of America. The racing begins at 8:50 a.m. the parking lot of the Frederick Brown Amphitheater.
