For challenger Studdard
. . .
I have been a resident of Fayette County for more than 20 years and have raised two children here. Both children are in the Fayette County school system and my wife, Cynthia, teaches here. As I approach retirement, I fully anticipate retiring in Fayette County. Sheila Studdard recently announced her candidacy for Clerk of Superior Court in Fayette County. I was pleasantly surprised but not shocked to discover that she had announced her intention to seek public office. I was responsible for the supervision of Ms. Studdard in the Atlanta Police Department Robbery Squad during my assignment to that squad for two years. I found that she is one of the most dedicated investigators that I have ever supervised. While I was in the Robbery Squad, Sheila devised and implemented procedures and plans for the Robbery Squad that actually made a major impact on reducing the number of reported carjackings in the city of Atlanta. Sheila Studdard is honest, has integrity and principles. She is one of the hardest-working persons that I know. I write this letter because I wish that all of Fayette County could know Sheila Studdard like I know her. There are several reasons to consider a vote for Sheila. The qualities I have mentioned are qualities to which we all aspire to and admire; however, Sheila possesses these qualities. I will be proud to cast my vote for Sheila Studdard and I hope all of Fayette County will join me. Lou Moore Sergeant Atlanta Police Department
