For incumbent Ballard . . .

Throughout the past 14 years, I have practiced in the Atlanta area and have had the honor of being retained in Fayette County cases in my capacity as an attorney. Throughout these years, I have found the Fayette County Superior Court Clerk's Office to be consistently the best clerk's office in the metro Atlanta area. In my opinion, this is due almost entirely to the leadership efforts of Mr. W.A. "Bud" Ballard, the Superior Court Clerk.

The staff of assistant clerks in Mr. Ballard's office is always friendly and helpful, but its congeniality is exceeded only by its efficiency, which dramatically improves the practice of law for any person who comes into contact with the legal process.

Many other metro Atlanta counties have clerk's offices that fail to keep attorneys and clients properly informed as to court dates and times or lack the people skills to effectively interact with the community, but Mr. Ballard's office not only accomplishes this goal, but it accomplishes it with courtesy.

This attitude has kept me coming down to Fayette County for the past 14 years, and I am convinced that Mr. Ballard is the person who has set the Fayette County Clerk's Office above the rest of the metro Atlanta area court clerk's offices.

Fayette County can thank Mr. Ballard for this exemplary office, as he leads and sets an example for his entire staff to follow. I strongly encourage every person in Fayette County to continue the tradition of excellence that he has established in Fayette County and vote to reelect Bud Ballard to his position as Fayette County Superior Court Clerk.

B. Thomas Cook, Jr.
