Catholic College Fair this Sunday

Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will host the second annual Catholic College Fair Sunday, Oct. 8, at McIntosh High School's cafeteria between 7:30 and 9p.m. or after the 6 p.m. Lifeteen Mass.

Hebel stepping into Grace pulpit

Grace Evangelical Church will welcome its new senior pastor, the Rev. Bruce Hebel, and his wife Toni to the congregation Sunday.

Christ our Shepherd has long history of service in Peachtree City

As with so many churches throughout Christendom, Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City began meeting in homes. It was the early 1970s and the city was only about 12 years old.

Do believers have a code of conduct?

After 29 years of abusive conduct, Indiana University recently fired basketball coach Bobby Knight for breaking a "zero tolerance policy" concerning Knight's behavior. Knight was a legend, a larger-than-life coaching icon that brought three NCAA championships to Indiana, and who left with 763 victories, fifth on the all-time college basketball list. No one ever questioned Knight's ability to coach. It's his belligerent behavior that finally brought him down.

I'm not sure I understand the concept of timing. How many times have your heard, or said, "I'm waiting for the right timing"? Who sets the time?

Griffith moving on, leaving much fruit behind

In hanging up his pulpit of nearly 11 years, the Rev. Chuck Griffith says God has told him it is time for a change for the church and for the Griffith family. Griffith founded the Fayette Assembly of God, the first successful planting of an Assembly church in Fayetteville.
