Hebel stepping into Grace pulpit

Grace Evangelical Church will welcome its new senior pastor,
the Rev. Bruce Hebel, and his wife Toni to the congregation Sunday.

Hebel holds a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. His wife holds a degree in piano performance from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. The Hebels have been married 21 years and have children: Aaron, 17; Andrew, 13; and Amy, 11.

The family moved to Fayetteville from Norman, OK, where Hebel served as associate pastor at Wildwood Community Church. Hebel was raised as a pastor's son and felt the Lord's calling to ministry at nine years of age.

While attending seminary, he took part in an internship program at Fellowship Bible Church North, where Christian author Gene Getz is senior pastor. He went on to serve as associate pastor of worship administration at Fellowship Bible Church in Harrah, OK.

Grace Evangelical Church is a nondenominational, Biblically rooted and culturally sensitive church moved by a "Great Commission Vision" which equips and enables men, women and children to communicate Christ through significant relationships with God, with one another as believers and with nonbelievers. Grace Evangelical is at 164 Flat Creek Trail in Fayetteville. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m.
