What genius designed this mess?

Who's big idea was the re-configuration of Ga. Highway 92 and Jimmy Mayfield Boulevard? Do you really think this was the answer to the traffic problem?

It's a bigger mess than before. In the last week I have been involved in four close calls, where people have turned into my lane of traffic from Hwy. 92 North onto Jimmy Mayfield and have been turned in front of twice by cars turning from Hwy. 92 South to Hwy. 92 North.

I can't even begin to count all the rear-end collisions I have seen at this intersection.

Something has to be done before someone loses their life at this intersection. A traffic light would help tremendously. Why one was not placed here from the beginning is beyond me.
