It will be a dog day afternoon at McCurry Park in Fayetteville this Saturday as dog lovers and their canine companions will flood the area for the fourth annual Bark in the Park celebration. Bark in the Park features a pledge walk and pet parade.

Proceeds benefit the Fayette County Humane Society. The Humane Society is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with the county animal shelter. Its volunteers provide spay/neuter assistance, pet adoptions and humane education.In addition to the Pledge Walk there will be pet contests, demonstrations, games, vendors and sponsor booths.
