Cancer survivor group meets tonight
Survivors of all types of cancer are invited to join the Cancer Survivor
Group at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. The group will meet
Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 6:45 p.m. in the bride's room of the church for
a short program and fellowship. Thereafter, the group will meet the third
Wednesday of each month. Newcomers are always welcome. For more information,

PTC Christian Rough Riders
schedule Tennessee trip
The Rough Riders group at Peachtree City Christian Church is planning
an outing on Thursday, Sept. 21, to visit the Tennessee Aquarium. The
group will leave the church at 8 a.m. and return around 5 p.m. The Rough
Riders are not limited to any particular age group or to couples. Also,
on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m., the group will gather at the church for
a planning session for future activities. An "Apple Trip" is

Learn to dance at Providence
UMC classes
A new dance class will begin Friday, Sept. 22, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Providence
United Methodist Church and will meet on selected Friday nights during
the fall. The Swing and Fox Trot will be taught in 10 sessions. Space

Awanita Retreat
Middle school students at Peachtree City Christian Church will have their
Fall Awanita Retreat Friday through Sunday, Sept. 22-24, at the Awanita
Valley Christian Retreat Center. Space is limited to 35 students. Information

Music Extravaganza is Saturday
at PTC Presbyterian
The First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City will have a Music Extravaganza
Saturday evening, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary, featuring
the Praise Band. The community is invited to attend.
Flat Rock AME plans fish
fry
Members of Flat Rock AME Church will have a fish fry this Saturday, Sept.
23, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the church. The proceeds will benefit
"Women's Day" at the church. Flat Rock is located just off Ga.
Hwy. 54 near Adams Farm.
