Fayette Republicans
spend like Democrats This county taxes us with the highest millage rate the state allows. Our homes are overvalued to allow the county and cities to tax us even more. We are already overburdened with federal and state taxes. Now we have the Board of Education and other county commissioners telling us we have to pass the bond in November. We are told this after the county spent $6,000 on each child in the public school system. Our tax money is being misspent on every social program the federal and state government can dream up and you still want more. We have said no to SPLOST twice. We have said no to the tax-and-spend politicians by voting them out of office. We will vote no on the bond in November. Those who put the bond on the ballot will get no votes in the future. It seems the Republicans in this county tax and spend as much as the Democrats everwhere else. It sounds like it is time for a new party. The Southern Party of Georgia is sure looking good.
