RECC begins new Wednesday schedule
Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 16, a new schedule for Wednesday night activities will be observed at River’s Edge Community Church. At 6:15 p.m., a pizza supper will be served, followed by adult Bible study, Rock Solid youth ministry, and TeamKID activities at 7 p.m. All activities will conclude by 8 p.m. A nursery will be provided. River’s Edge is located at 1091 South Jeff Davis Drive in Fayetteville.
Third Thursday group to visit history center

The Third Thursday seniors group at Fayetteville United Methodist Church will visit the Atlanta History center tomorrow, Aug. 17. the cost is $4 per person. The group will leave the Family Life Center parking lot at 9:15 a.m. For more information, call the church at 770-461-4313, ext. 17.

McDonough Rd. organizing bowling league
A bowling league is being formed at McDonough Road Baptist Church which will begin Thursday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m., and continue for 30 weeks. Those who are interested or who would like more information, are asked to call Craig or Cindy Cox at 770-473-9265.

Cornerstone men to have breakfast at Shoney’s
The men of Cornerstone Bible Church will have breakfast at Shoney’s this Saturday, Aug. 19 at 8 a.m. All men in the community are invited to attend.

National Heights to dedicate new hymnals
Members of National Heights Baptist Church will formally dedicate their new hymnals Sunday, Aug. 20 during the morning worship service. A church-wide luncheon will follow. River’s Edge welcomes special guests this Sunday
Members of River’s Edge Community Church will have two special guests this Sunday for its morning and evening services. The Edgefield Baptist Youth Choir will perform at the 10:30 a.m. worship service, followed by Bishop Stanley Butler of Baltimore, Md. as speaker. PTC UMC Primetimers to visit Macon

Primetimers at Peachtree City United Methodist Church will travel to Macon on Wednesday, Aug. 23, to visit the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. The cost is $6 per person. Those attending can choose to visit one or both facilities. The group will have lunch at a restaurant in Macon. Wednesday Communion resumes at Christ Our Hope
Wednesday evening communion services will resume at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Services will begin at 7:15 p.m. and conclude by 7:30. The church is located at 2165 Ga. Hwy. 138 in North Fayette County.

Food drive scheduled at North Fayette UMC
The Social Concerns Ministry at North Fayette United Methodist Church is sponsoring “Food for Fayette Families” every Sunday in August. Donations of nonperishable food are needed as well as paper and cleaning products. Items should be brought to the church before Sunday, Aug. 27. North Fayette is located at 847 New Hope Rd. in Fayetteville.

Providence will offer Disciple Classes

Blood drive scheduled at Christ Our Hope
