Briefs Bethany ladies plan to ride the “Hooch” The Circle of Love ladies group at Bethany United Methodist Church has planned a trip to Columbus on Tuesday, June 20, for a boat trip on the Chattahoochee River. Classes are planned for three-year-olds (must be three by Sept. 1) and four-year-olds (must be four by Sept. 1). A one-time, non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of registration. Providence kids invited to see “Cinderella' Providence United Methodist Church invites its children through fifth grade to enjoy a trip to the Center For Puppetry Arts to see “Cinderella” on Friday, June 16. RECC youth to sponsor car washes The youth groups at River's Edge Community Church have scheduled three car washes during the month of June to raise funds for missions. Car washes are planned for Saturdays on June 17 and June 24 at Taco Bell and Mrs. Winner's in Fayetteville. `Spirit Bound' to present musical at Christ Our Hope Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church will host the musical group “Spirit Bound,” from Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, Minn., in a performance of “Embracing Grace,” Sunday, June 18, at both worship services. The group is composed of 65 youth and adults. The Sunday performances will be preceded by a potluck supper Saturday evening. Hwy. 138 in Riverdale. Peachtree City UMC announces new worship schedule Members of Peachtree City United Methodist Church have begun a new schedule of services for the summer months.
