My father was born 1901. He died
1969. I was 22 when he died. He had four daughters,
Martha, Sue, Brenda, and Nancy who preceded me as his
children.

Hughes, Smith will speak at Women's
Aglow meeting
Local members Vicki Hughes and
Linda smith will be the featured speakers at this
month's meeting of Women's Aglow Fellowship
International, Peachtree City Chapter, Monday
evening, June 19, and Tuesday morning, June 20. Both
meetings will be held at the Calvary Temple Assembly
of God, 202 Robinson Rd. in Peachtree City, next to
Mowell Funeral Home.

dessert theater this Friday
The Rock Solid Youth Ministry
24/7 Drama Team of River's Edge Community Church will
once again present a dessert theater on Friday, June
16 at 7:30 p.m.
Summer Christian movies scheduled
Sonrise Christian Bookstore and
Fayette Community Church are offering a summer
Christian movie series at the old Dollar theater
behind Mrs. Winner's in Fayetteville. Shows begin at
11 a.m. And admission is free. Popcorn and drinks
will be available.
Heritage Christian Church to begin
Grief Recovery group this summer
Heritage Christian Church has
announced the beginning of a grief recovery support
group for those who have lost loved ones. All are
invited to join, whether their loss was recent or
not. An informational dinner for those interested in
attending is scheduled for Thursday, June 22 at the
home of Greg and Eliana Marksberry. Those interested
in attending are asked to call the church at
770-632-9948 by Monday, June 19, to RSVP and receive
directions.
Promise Keepers set October date for
conference in downtown Atlanta
The Phillips Arena in Atlanta
will host an expected crowd of 21,000 this October
when Promise Keepers, the Denver-based international
ministry to men, convenes for its year 2000
conference in Atlanta. Conference dates are Oct. 27
and 28. The day-and-a-half gathering is expected to
draw men from throughout the southeast.
