Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Shelton of Fayetteville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 4, 2000, with a brunch at Ray's on the River in Marietta. The brunch was attended by family and close friends.

The Shelton's have two daughters, Nancy (David) Granath of Florence, S.C., and Becky (Roger) Stephens of Hampton. They also have three grandchildren.

Mr. Shelton is retired from the Nabisco Warehouse in Atlanta. Mrs. Shelton is the former Gertrude Canuet of Bennettsville, S.C.

The couple was married on June 11, 1950.
