Bible Schools `Ocean Odyssey' VBS planned at Lisbon Baptist Lisbon Baptist Church will have its Vacation Bible School Monday-Friday, June 12-16, from 7-9 p.m. each night.People of all ages are invited to participate. This year's theme is “Ocean Odyssey.” A nursery will be provided. Lisbon Baptist is located at 1662 Ga. Hwy. 85 South. For more information, call 770-461-1583. Inman UMC presents “Under Construction” VBS Inman United Methodist Church will offer Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday, June 19-23, from 9-11:30 a.m. for children ages 3 (by Sept. 1) through fifth grade. This year's theme is “Under Construction: A Habitat for Humanity.” A variety of activities is planned with adult workers serving as “engineers” and children taking the roles of “crew members.” Closing ceremonies will be held as part of the “Saturday Night Alive” program on June 24 at 6:30 p.m. The program will also feature children's choir groups. New Hope Methodist schedules VBS June 19-23 Members of New Hope Methodist Church will have their summer Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday, June 19-23 from 6-8 p.m. The church bus will be available for pickup. VBS set for June 19-23 at River's Edge River's Edge Community Church will have Vacation Bible school Monday, June 19 through Friday, June 23 from 9 a.m. until noon. Children ages four through fifth grade (completed) are invited to participate. Activities will include Bible classes, experiments, crafts, games and snacks through the theme, “Gospel Light's SonZone Discovery Center.” Registration forms are available at the church. Greentree Church plans VBS for June 25-29 Greentree Church in Tyrone invites children in the community to attend its Vacation Bible school Sunday, June 25 through Thursday, June 29 from 6:15-8:30 p.m. Children in fourth through sixth grade are invited to star in Bible Adventures at Holy Word Studios each evening as the Bible, the script of “God's Story,” is filmed amid Bible-learning activities at the church. Rolling Hills Baptist sets VBS for June 26-30 Vacation Bible School at Rolling Hills Baptist Church is scheduled for Monday through Friday, June 26-30 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Children from Kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to participate. This year's theme is “Ocean Odyssey.” Activities include crafts, refreshments, recreation time, Bible stories, music and more.
