Dallas Burn defeats Silverbacks, 2-0

Major League Soccer's Dallas Burn claimed a 2-0 victory ton Tuesday night against the Atlanta Silverbacks. Dallas Burn's midfielder Oscar Pareja scored the first goal of the game in the seventh minute on an assist from Alavanja. Although the Burn scored a fast goal during the first half of the game, the Silverbacks maintained a strong defensive line throughout the entire match.

In the 69th minute of the game, the Burn's star forward Ariel Graziani wowed the crowd with his break towards goal, moving past two defenders and goalkeeper Tony Roberts, giving the Burn a 2-0 lead over the Silverbacks.

The Silverbacks were cheered on by 4,200 fans in the stands at DeKalb Memorial Stadium. The Silverbacks played an aggressive game against the Burn, and Head Coach Nuno Piteira was able to give many players a chance to play. Head Coach Nuno Piteira said, "The game was a great experience for the players. We played over 20 players throughout the game. Overall, it was a great night for soccer."

The Atlanta Silverbacks play their next home game against the Tennessee Rhythm on Saturday, May 20th at 7:30pm directly after the Atlanta Classics take on the Piedmont Spark at 4pm. Come to the first A-League/W-League doubleheader in the history of Atlanta soccer!
