Starr's Mill and McIntosh's boys and girls soccer teams began the first round of the state playoffs this week, as did the Fayette County Lady Tigers. So far the county is 5-0.

In something of a surprise, McIntosh football coach Clint Ashmore resigned as both coach and teacher earlier this week.

Lady Panthers and Lady Chiefs are regional champions in track

The Starr's Mill Lady Panthers and the Sandy Creek Lady Patriots track and field teams met in the Region 4-AAA Girls Track and Field Championship earlier this week.

Starr's Mill prepared for fun-filled Spring Fling

Starr's Mill High School senior girls will take on the junior girls at their first annual Powder Puff football game at Spring Fling Friday, May 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Panther Stadium.
