The Starr's Mill Panthers wrestling team was scheduled to meet Banneker and Mt. Zion, Jonesboro on Tuesday evening, but inclement weather kept Banneker at home. Starr's Mill took on Mt. Zion and won 51-20. The Panthers got wins from Gary James, Kevin Trickey, Scott Molleson, Brian Kyser, Danny Davidson, Ariston Bowers, Christopher Coleman, Drew Cofty, Matt Fuhrmann, and Clint Barbour.

Starr's Mill is hosting the Panther Duals on Saturday at 10 a.m. If the bad weather that is supposed to hit the area does in fact hit, the meet will be cancelled. Check The Citizen's website for updated information on sporting event cancellations. The website is www.thecitizennews.com.

In other wrestling matches this weekend, McIntosh will wrestle in the Woodward Duals on Friday and the Marietta Duals on Saturday. East Coweta will meet Fayette County and North Springs on Friday and Fayette County will travel to the Pope Invitational on Saturday.
