PTC cops seek help with shoplifting investigation

On February 17 the Peachtree City Police Department arrested Frank McGhee, age 45, of 706 North Avenue in Griffin. He was charged with four counts of Felony Shoplifting and four counts of Felony Retail Property Fencing.

Mr. McGhee’s arrest was the result of approximately two months of investigation into numerous reported electronics thefts totaling over $15,000 from Walmart in Peachtree City.

The Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division worked closely with Loss Prevention Specialists at Walmart which resulted in the arrest of Mr. McGhee.

Sure hope this isn't the same Frank McGhee from Griffin who ran over his girlfriend's other boyfriend(!) 2 years ago and killed him. He better still be in prison...

He is the one and the same. I do believe he was acquitted of all the charges. How lucky for the rest of us.
