PTC woman arrested for hitting stepson

A Peachtree City woman was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 6 for striking her stepson, police said.

Nicole Fannin, 32, of Larkspur Turn, was charged with cruelty to children in the first degree and battery (family violence).

The stepson, whose age was unavailable, received a black eye during the incident, police said. The incident is also being investigated by the Fayette County Department of Family and Children Services.

It is not known what precipitated the alleged assault, police said.

A lot of questions surrund this incident..The lack of details makes me wonder what is the " Rest Of the Story "..

I know, right? What was he doing? Was he getting ready to shoot a horse with an arrow? Then good for her! How old is he? How hard did she hit him?

This is not a story that should be printed without more details. I'm all for the public's right to know, but come on.
