North Fayette UMC to present anniversary program Sept. 28 Members of North Fayette United Methodist Church will present a special program this Sunday to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The program, "The Co-Pilot is NOT the Captain," will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the church activities center. Guest worship leader and guitarist will be David Giles. Other guest musicians will include Brian Stock, guitar, and Mark Medley, percussion. The church's director of worship, Nada Clements, will be featured on the keyboard. Clements joined the church staff in 2002, not only to direct the total music program, but also to develop and initiate The Grove concept of contemporary Christian music and worship. Additions made to the church to accommodate the new concept include a sound system in a custom built sound booth, a high quality projection system and a 9 x 12-foot wall screen, a new computer with a software program called, "MediaShout," murals, banners, acoustical wall material and a plexiglass acoustical screen to control the volume of the drum. North Fayette's activities center is on the church campus at 847 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. a nursery will be provided during the program and the public is invited to attend.
