Second round of playoffs start tonight

The second round of the state football playoffs begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. East Coweta is the only local team hosting a game tonight. Both Starr's Mill and Landmark Christian must travel.

Starr's Mill swimmers start season with a win

The Starr's Mill high school swim team recently competed in its first meet of the season, and easily swam away with first place. The meet was held at the Johnson Park pool in Conyers, with competition coming from three other metro area teams.
