Beginning Sunday, Sept. 10, Lighthouse United Methodist Church will offer “Lighthouse Kids,” a youth group for kids ages 3 – 5th grade, who will meet at the church office on Sunday evenings from 5 – 6:30 p.m. for games, crafts, small group story time, light learning experiments, new songs, and snacks. Shown above are some of the “kids” who attended the recent grand opening of the church on Aug. 13. On the front row, left to right, are Betsy McInturff, Shane Karafanda, Stuart Thibadeaux, Jacob Brachey and John Karafanda. On the second row are Hannah Todd and Anna Brachey. Standing is back is Andrea Brachey, one of the Lighthouse Kids’ leaders. The church office presently is at 2581 West Ga. Hwy. 54 in Peachtree City.
