Members of McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville raised approximately $8,000 at their yard sale held last month.

Proceeds will go to equip the church’s Christian Activities Building (gym) which is in need of bleachers, chairs, wall padding for the “Upward Basketball” program, scoreboards, sound systems, and other equipment.

The yard sale included donations of exercise equipment, children’s bicycles, chairs and tables, an antique stroller, toys, vacuum cleaners, shelves, clothing, and many other items.
