Leslie Margaret Bivings and Kamal Ibrahim Bohsali were married April 22, 2006, in an outdoor ceremony at the Swan House in Atlanta. The Rev. Peter Paulsen, chaplain at Emory University, conducted the double ring ceremony. The bride’s maid of honor was her sister, Elizabeth Kathleen Bivings, of Dallas, Texas. Attendants included Margaret Lee Halford of Dallas, Texas, cousin of the bride, and Kathryn Kearns of Atlanta. Other members of the bridal party included Heather Aunberg of Atlanta, Elizabeth Parker of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Kristen Stocks of Atlanta. The groom’s brothers, Sal and Kareem Bohsali of Tampa and Gainesville, Fla., served as best men. Felipe Aguel of Washington, D.C., Brian Bigler of Philadelphia, Pa., and Ivan Castellon of New York City, N.Y., served as ushers. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bivings of Peachtree City. She was graduated from Baylor University in 2002 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing and received her master’s degree in nursing from Emory University in 2005. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ibrahim Bohsali of Port St. Lucie, Fla. He was graduated from Tulane University in 1996 and received his medical degree from the University of Florida in 2000. He completed his orthopedic residency in Atlanta in 2005 and a shoulder reconstructive fellowship in San Antonio, Texas in 2006. The couple honeymooned in Mexico and now reside in Jacksonville, Fla. login to post comments |
