Dance company welcomes Hollywood choreographer

The Peachtree City School of Dance has recently welcomed a new instructor at the school.

Danila Battiste has joined the faculty at the Peachtree City School of Dance to teach hip-hop classes at the studio. Battiste is one of the most versatile and prolific choreographers in the dance industry. Her client list includes some of the biggest names in the entertainment business including Prince, Whitney Houston, Backstreet Boys, Raven and Paula Abdul. Her choreography credits include NBC’s “Will And Grace,” Dreamwork Productions, and Motown Records.

Peachtree City School of Dance director Kathleen Senger said, “Peachtree City School of Dance continues to offer professional dance training by bringing together the top dance instructors in the area.” Battiste joins Senger, artist-in-residence Brenda Hotard and dance instructor Mary Katherine Houlder. All hold college degrees in the dance field along with professional performing experience. “Our students benefit by training with a diverse, caring group of successful dancers, small class sizes for individual attention and performing opportunities within the community,” continued Senger.

The Peachtree City School of Dance is located at 1988 Ga. Highway 54, Suite F & G in Fayetteville.
