Gym South Gymnastics and Cheerleading in Fayetteville is hosting a National Gymnastics Day fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network on Sept. 9, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be performances by the Atlanta Cheer Force, Gym South’s competition cheerleading team, and Fayette County High School cheerleaders. There will also be demonstrations by the Gym South boys and girls gymnastics teams. All events are free. A parent must sign a waiver in order for the kids to participate in events on the gym floor. All children who attend will be able to play exciting games, and work their way through an obstacle course as well as take a free trial gymnastics class teaching basic gymnastics and learning neat tricks. There will be a raffle with great prizes from local merchants in Fayette County such as Bugaboo Creek, Zaxby’s, Fayette Sporting Goods, Fayette Fun Bowl, Dazzles Skating, Backyard Burger, and many more! If you would like to contribute to the Children’s Miracle Network, you may sponsor a gymnast in the cartwheel-athon, buy raffle tickets, or directly donate money to Children’s Miracle Network, an organization that benefits children with childhood diseases through research. So come out for a good cause and a bunch of fun. Call 770-461-5528 for questions and directions. login to post comments |
