The face of the Southside may soon be changing soon as these maps indicate. Combined, the annexations and rezonings could bring more than 5,800 homes to Fayette and Coweta counties. The biggest develepment is map 6, which could turn out to be the region’s Atlantic Station, offering a lively mix of entertainment, shopping and housing options. Fayette shoppers could also find a new option north of the area in Fairburn, where more than 1,000,000 square feet of retail space is planned.
