Thanks for clearing up this issue [about golf carts on county roads]. We live on one of the roads in unincorporated Fayette, and we were not sure what rules applied.

One thing I would like to see changed is for the Fayette rules to match the Peachtree City rules.

Allowing children from 12 to 14 years old to drive a golf cart with parental supervision helps to teach them how to drive and make them better car drivers when the time comes.

Allowing 15-year-olds to drive golf carts alone will also make them safer car drivers.
