Flu vaccine: Some bargain

I note in The Citizen article that flu vaccine is still available at several supermarkets and other “retailers” throughout Fayette County.

It certainly is nice to know that a retiree can get protection at these “outlets” for a mere $25.

My insurance company would reduce my fixed income out of-pocket-expense some 60 percent if I visited my physician for the inoculation.

How ironic: my physician’s office, where I would expect to get the protection, ordered vaccine for 250 patients, but only received a measly amount for 10 shots.

Guess I will go to the grocery for relief, if I do catch that nasty bug.
