Mr. and Mrs. James Spencer of Zebulon announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Leigh Spencer, to Christopher Michael Burgess, son of Melody LaTella Ragsdale of Peachtree City and James W. Burgess of Augusta.

The bride-to-be has a bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography from the Medical College of Georgia.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Augusta Technical College, and is an electrician.

The outdoor wedding will be Nov. 4, 2006 at Lake Peachtree in Tinsley Mill Village, Peachtree City.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Augusta.
