The Rev. Howard and Gail Alexander of Newnan announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine Mary Alexander, to Ryan Tripp Brown, son of Tripp and Karen Brown of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ms. Helen Teal and the late Roy Teal of Fayetteville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Alexander of Fayetteville. She is a 2003 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and is employed by Eye Consultants of Atlanta.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Reed of Fayetteville and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown of Fayetteville. He is a 2003 graduate of Fayette County High School and is employed by Granite Transformations.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 at Southside Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

The couple will reside in Newnan.
