Claudia and Greg Norred of Fayetteville and Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Maynard Jr. of Dallas, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Nicole Maynard, to J. Wesley Getman of Atlanta, son of Suzanne Ellis of Baldwinsville, N.Y. and James Getman of Camillus, N.Y.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Margaret Ellis of Fayetteville and the late Alfred Ellis, Douglas and Betty Norred of Fayetteville, and the late Guy Maynard of Jonesboro and Katharine Maynard, formerly of Jonesboro. She is a 1993 graduate of Fayette County High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of West Georgia. She is vice president of Norred & Associates in Atlanta.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Helen and Al Nolan of Baldwinsville, N.Y., the late Bernard Ellis, and the late Louise and Wesley Getman, all formerly of Baldwinsville. He is a 1990 graduate of C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville. He received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the State University College at Geneseo in 1994 and a master’s degree in business administration from the Simon School at the University of Rochester in 1998. He is a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta.

The wedding and reception will be Oct. 14, 2006, in Fayetteville.

After a honeymoon in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Atlanta.
