Thank you so very much for delivering The Citizen to our house every Wednesday morning. We especially appreciate receiving it early.

I also want to thank you for allowing all the candidates to express their views prior to the election. That is a great help to us citizens. Thank you also for letting me express my views.

We moved to Peachtree City in 1996; since then I have read the letters, studied the issues, and even attended some council meetings.

After careful listening, reading and following local and especially Peachtree City politics during these nine years, I, too, am convinced that Steve Brown is the best candidate for mayor for Peachtree City.

Voting is a really great privilege and like you I encourage all citizens to vote. The greatest potential of losing our freedom, in my view, comes from a lack of participation. Unless we participate in selecting and voting for the best possible candidates in all levels of government we have no basis for complaining.

So let’s vote and give Mayor Brown four more years of good government in Peachtree City.
