Maggie Pauline Hayes, 89, Palmetto, died Aug. 20, 2006. She was born Aug.16, 1917 in Meriwether County. She was preceded in death by her husband,James Aaron Hayes, a son, James Hayes, and a daughter, Joyce Turner.Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ralph Bobo and the Rev. Tom Daugherty officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include a son, Jimmy and Lynn Hayes, and Carole Hayes; a sister, Irene Neil; grandchildren, Matt Hayes, Kyndal Hayes, Kristy Turner Vinot, and Barry Vinot, Cathy Hayes, Larry and Teresa Hayes, and Kim and Jason Potter; great-grandchildren, Brandey, Nathan, Jakob, and Caleb. Memorial donations may be made to Angel Flight of Georgia, 2000 Airport Road, Suite 227, Atlanta, Ga. 30341. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
